Refund policy

Overview

Our refund and returns policy is valid for 30 days from the date of delivery.
The entire return process — from request to receipt — must be completed within 30 days.
After 30 days, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition as received

  • The item must be in its original packaging


How to Initiate a Return (Mandatory Process)

To initiate a return, customers must email us first.

Step 1: Raise a Return Request

Please email onomie.in@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Order ID

  • Clear product images and an unpacking video

  • Reason for return

Requests for damaged, defective, or incorrect items must be raised within 48 hours of delivery. Other return requests must comply with the 30-day return window stated above.

Step 2: Approval

Once reviewed, our team will confirm whether the return request is approved or rejected.

Step 3: Return Shipment

If approved:

  • The return address will be shared via email

  • Customers must ship the product to the provided address

  • Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted

  • Depending on the product and serviceability, returns may be shipped by the customer or picked up via a reverse pickup arranged by ONOMIE.

Step 4: Inspection & Refund Approval

Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding refund approval.


Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are not eligible for return, including:

  • Perishable goods (food, flowers, newspapers, magazines)

  • Intimate or sanitary items

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

Additional non-returnable items include:

  • Gift cards

  • Downloadable or digital products

  • Certain health and personal care items


Brand & Category Exceptions

ONOMIE is a curated multi-brand platform.

👉 Return eligibility may vary by brand or product category.
Any specific exceptions or special return conditions will be clearly mentioned on the product page.


Partial Refunds (If Applicable)

Partial refunds may be granted in the following situations:

  • Products showing clear signs of use

  • Opened media items (CDs, DVDs, software, games, etc.)

  • Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

  • Returns initiated or completed beyond the 30-day return window


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • You will be notified via email regarding approval or rejection

  • If approved, the refund will be processed to the original method of payment

Refund Timeline

Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days after inspection.


Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders:

  • Refunds will be processed via bank transfer or store credit

  • Refunds are initiated only after return approval and inspection


Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  1. Recheck your bank account

  2. Contact your credit card company (posting time may vary)

  3. Contact your bank

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds.
Sale, discounted, or promotional items are non-refundable.


Order Cancellations

  • Orders can only be cancelled before they are shipped

  • Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled and will fall under the returns policy


Exchanges

We only replace items if they are damaged, defective, or incorrect.

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Share clear images, unpacking video, and order details

Approved exchanges are subject to product availability.


Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

  • If a return is approved for a correctly delivered order, a reverse pickup charge of ₹100 will be deducted from the refund amount

  • If a refund is approved, applicable return shipping costs may be deducted

  • ONOMIE is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit

  • We strongly recommend using a trackable courier service


Force Majeure

Delays caused by natural disasters, strikes, courier disruptions, governmental actions, or events beyond our control may impact delivery, returns, or refund timelines.


Legal Compliance

This policy is subject to applicable consumer protection laws in INDIA 🇮🇳.
